Event:
The Department of Trade and Industry (DTI), through its Consumer Protection Group (CPG) continues its strengthened market monitoring activities to assess the impact of the implementation of the Republic Act 10963 or the Tax Reform for Acceleration and Inclusion (TRAIN) Law on prices and supply of basic necessities and prime commodities.
 
In addition, the DTI-CPG conducts special enforcement activities on Fair Trade Laws to check if specific critical construction materials, electrical products and appliances are compliant with the requirements of the Philippine National Standards (PNS).
