The Philippine Competition Commission (PCC) and the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI), with the support of the United Nations Conference on Trade and Development (UNCTAD), will conduct a free workshop titled “Linking Competition Policy, Economic Recovery, and Resilience: Benefits to MSMEs” on 28 November 2022, 8:30 AM – 3:00 PM in Quezon City.

This aims to discuss how MSMEs can benefit from competition policy in the short- and long-term, particularly in the post-pandemic economic recovery. It shall elaborate on the different anti-competitive agreements/conduct prohibited under the Philippine Competition Act and provide practical examples showcasing the law’s applicability to MSME operations. Ultimately, it seeks to help identify actionable issues faced by MSMEs to ensure that the benefits of competition policy are felt by all market stakeholders.

Registration is FREE but we will implement a FIRST COME, FIRST SERVE basis due to limited slots.

Interested MSMEs/Business representatives may register at https://bit.ly/PCC-DTI-UNCTADMSMEForum until 18 November 2022. Registered participants will receive the event information via email.
