Magandang umaga po sa inyong lahat!
Ang DTI po it’s a privilege na makasama po ulit ang sektor ng kooperatiba. Only last week or two weeks ago tayo po ay magkakasama nila Senator Migs, Com. Ben, at iba pa pong mga ka-partner natin. Ganoon na lang po ang aming pagpapahalaga to work closely together with the cooperative sector. There are many things to be thankful about the many successes sa mga ongoing programs even with Landbank—all cooperative sector that is so much tied up with the many programs of Landbank—at ganoon din po ng DTI.
Sa DTI naman po alam naman po ninyo na kayo po ang ating partner sa pagdating sa pag-aabot ng maraming programa ng DTI para po sa mga miyembro ninyo sa lahat ng ating kababayan na nakakalat nationwide. You have the widest network of constituents ng ating mga kababayan na kailangan maabot to the margins. That’s very important, ang mga programa po ng DTI, lalo sa pagpalakas ng Micro SME sector. Cooperative sector po talaga ang aming kabalikat dito. Hindi namin magagawa ang maraming programa na ginagawa ng DTI kung hindi po dahil sa inyong sektor.
Naniniwala kami na ang cooperative sector ang ating daan tungo sa job creation at pag-solve ng poverty sa lahat ng kasulok-sulukan ng Pilipinas. Ang mga programa natin kagaya ng Pondo para sa Pagbabago at Pag-asenso, a micro-financing program ng Small Business Corp. at ng DTI. Around 349 cooperatives po ay miyembro na po at conduit na din ng ating SB Corporation.
As you know, programa ngayon under SB Corp. din po itong CARES. It is a direct lending program, but we are willing again, to develop a new program that will make the cooperatives a conduit partner under the CARES. Sa ngayon po direct lending po ang SB Corp.
If we will be able to manage a very reasonable transfer rate para po sa inyong miyembro, we will be open po to explore that possibility para po ang ating programa mas kumalat pa po sa mas marami ninyong mga miyembro.
Sa SSF naman po, ang numero natin mga 839 cooperatives na po ang ating mga cooperative partners. Dahil po sa inyo marami na po tayong natulungan na mga entrepreneur members na inyong mga kanya-kanyang kooperatiba, which is really the purpose of the shared service facility. Mga facilities that are meant to be shared among many entrepreneurs dahil ‘di po kakayanin bumili ang bawat isang entrepreneur ng mga equipment na ito.
We will continue with this program. Thankfully ang atin pong nakasalang na budget ngayon ay madadagdagan po ng budget para sa shared service facility. It’s not as big as what’s going to the DA, pero nagpapasalamat kami na kesa sa zero budget ay malalagyan na itong shared service facility for 2021. God willing, baka madagdagan pa po dahil lahat po ng nakakita sa legislator, hindi naman po nagvolunteer, pero sila talaga ang nakakita na talagang madagdagan ‘yung budget sa shared service facility, lalo na ‘yung budget na nakalaan for 2020 na hindi po natuloy. Binawi po ito dahil po kailangan pondohan ‘yung pandemic kaya po maraming programa ang hindi nagawa ngayon ang Department at isa na dito ‘yung shared service facility.
Hopefully, with better times ahead sa 2021, itong nawala ngayong 2020 ay maidadagdag dito sa nakalaan na Php 500M for 2021 sa shared service facility.So there will be another Php 500M.
Hopefully, mabuo natin kahit Php 1B and this will be for the benefit of many cooperatives that will be our cooperators dito sa shared service facility. We believe na kayo po ang nararapat na partners ditto and DTI opens its programs for all your requirements. Pagdating po sa mga entrepreneurship trainings with the TESDA, we will continue to provide you all those empowering seminars that you may need sa inyo pong operations ng cooperative at ‘yung mga miyembro na nasa negosyo.
Ngayon po ginagawa po natin ay webinars and we’re doing also a lot of digital trainings para ‘yung inyong mga produkto will be given the right exposure sa e-commerce. We have a lot of digital e-commerce webinars ongoing. Please, makipag-ugnayan lang po sa ating Regional Operations Group, si Usec. Bles Lantayona at ang kanyang team ay maisasama na po ang inyong mga miyembro na gustong maging part nitong webinars natin.
If time permits, we can also do special programs doon po sa mga needs ninyo sa cooperatives. We will be able to develop more curriculum or modules dito po sa Philippine Trade Training Center (PTTC) kung saan we can develop modules na specific sa mga cooperatives that would like to be beneficiaries po dito po sa mga training programs.
Once again, I would like to express my solidarity to the cooperative sector with cooperation po ng CDA. Sana po maipalakas pa natin ang programa natin in partnership with cooperatives.
