Magandang hapon po sa inyong lahat!
Sa ating mga kasama dito sa Gabinete at kasama na rin sa IATF (Inter-Agency Task Force) na halos every other day nagmi-meeting. Kami po ay naging very much well-coordinated po. Ito pong pinirmahan natin ngayon ay patunay lamang na ang ating mahigpit na pagsasama-sama sa pagtugon sa pangangailangan ngayon, which is really the enforcement and implementation ng ating Price Act.
At kami po ay nagpapasalamat sa mga hanay po na nandito. Mula po sa ating convener ngayon at Chairman din po ng ating task group for food security, Department of Agriculture (DA) Sec. William Dar; ang mga kasama natin on the production sector, as we say, aside from the DA, the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI); the Department of Health (DOH) sa health medicines and drugs; and forestry products with Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR).
Ito po ay napaka halagang listihan ng mga produkto na ine-enforce ng Price Act. At hindi po magiging matagumpay ang implementation kung walang tulong ng Department of Interior and Local Government (DILG) sa pamamagitan po ng mga Local Price Coordinating Council (LPCC) na pinamumunuan po ng mga local government units na under po sa DILG.
Every time po lumalabas po kami nila Secretary Dar at Secretary Año, ‘yun ang nari-realize namin. Ang halaga ng Local Price Coordinating Council as our enforcement arm, lalo na po on the ground. From LGU, Governors, the cities, as well as up to the barangay level. It is really very important, very timely. Ito ay alinsunod sa priority na binigay ng ating Pangulong Duterte na talagang bantayan itong mga profiteers at mga hoarders, and we really appreciate this.
Actually nag-umpisa na rin po ‘yung trabaho dito at pakikipagtulungan with the DILG and PNP. They have been joining forces with the DTI, DOH, DENR, and the DA in terms of the going to the marketplace, to the retail stores, the warehouses at over 500 na po ang nahuli dito at naaresto na mga profiteers and hoarders. At ‘yan po ay nagawa sa sa tulong ng DILG, pati sa NBI na kasama po dito sa kampanya na ‘to.
With this LPCC, siguradong mas mapapalakas pa, because at the LGU setting, ‘yung LPCC mas malawak ang membership at mas maraming magtutulong-tulong po dito. Very timely po sa hinihiling ng ating pangulo na paigtingin ang enforcement ng kampanya against profiteers and hoarders.
Again, this is key to implementation at nagpapasalamat tayo sa pagkakataon na ito na nabuo natin ito.
