As chairman of the Senate Committee on Trade, Commerce, and Entrepreneurship, you have empowered us through your advocacies that are aligned with President Ferdinand Marcos Jr.’s aim of pursuing economic growth and expansion.
I would also like to thank everyone in the Senate leadership, administration, and staff for helping organize this One Town One Project (OTOP) booth here. Thank you for this manifestation of your support for the backbone of our economy, our MSMEs.
Para sa mga OTOPreneurs na nandito ngayon, I would like to convey that the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) remains committed to support you in your business ventures. We value your immense contribution to our economy, especially post-pandemic.
You make up over 99% of all businesses in the Philippines and generate almost 65% of the country’s total employment, which is a testament to your contribution to the Philippine economy. You are the backbone of our economy. Kung wala kayo, kung walang gulugod, hindi makakatayo ang ating ekonomiya. At lalong hindi ito makakatakbo.
Ang pagbangon at pagtakbo ng ating ekonomiya ang pinakauna sa agenda ng administrasyon ni Pangulong Marcos.
In support of this, DTI has several programs for micro, small, and medium entrepreneurs—from setting up, to registration, to product development, to design packaging, and financing.
The DTI’s OTOP program promotes market-ready products and services rooted in the Philippines’ culture, community, creativity, connection, and competitive advantage. We aim to promote your products and enable it to compete both in the local and global markets. Kaisa ninyo kami sa hangaring ito.
Sa pagtatayo ng OTOP booth na ito ay siguradong matutuwa kayong mga nasa Senado at ang inyong mga bisita. Masarap at madaling mag-add-to-cart dito sa ating pasalubong booth. Sari-saring produkto mula sa iba’t ibang dako ng Pilipinas ang maiibigan ninyo rito. Tunay na maipagmamalaki ang gawang Pinoy. Halina at ating suportahan ang mga produktong sariling atin!
