Magandang Hapon po sa inyong lahat! Good afternoon.

Ako po si Ramon Lopez ng Department of Trade and Industry. Gusto ko lang po i-extend ang aking pag-congratulate sa mga KMME online graduates dito po sa online graduation na inyong ginagawa ngayon. Ang title po natin ngayon “Rebuilding MSME resiliency to global crisis”. Nararapat lang po sa panahon ngayon na ito pong paguusapan ngayon yung resilience natin.

Ang KMME online program is really geared up to help Micro SMEs. Dito po pinapakita yung importance ng entrepreneurial mentorship. Ang entrepreneurial education which is really key kung tayo po ay maguumpisa ng pagnenegosyo. Hindi po enough na tayo’y magbukas lamang ng negosyo at ni walang training. So ang amin pong vision dito ay ang buong bayan po karamihan po ng mga nagnenegosyo whether malaki o maliit ay malaki ang kaalaman pagdating sa entrepreneurship education.

Amin pong sinusunod ang simple framework po namin ang 7Ms na para po mas mapaganda ang mga negosyo nating lahat. Umpisa po yung tamang Mindset, Mastery ng mga kaalaman sa pagnenegosyo, yung Mentoring yung having also mga equipment – Machines.  Money o microfinancing. Giving you the right Market and also showing you yung mga iba ibang Models of negosyo.

Subalit ngayon po ay meron na tayong ibang kondisyon which is dahil po sa COVID-19 pinaguusapan po ngayon ang New Normal. So dito po sa bagong programa natin na bringing online yung ating pong seminar at of course yung mga pagshare ng kaalaman sa pagnenegosyo we’re using the power of technology.

Tuloy po ang ating collaboration between government and private sector to have the Micro SMEs even during this time of pandemic. Tuloy-tuloy po yung ating programa in supporting this program. And again, we thank our partner sa programa po ng KMME kapartner po natin ang GO Negosyo, Philippine Center for Entrepreneurship under the leadership of PA Joey Concepcion na isa na pong matagal nating haligi sa partnership po with DTI at GO Negosyo sa paghahatid po ng kaalaman ng pagnenegosyo in the online way.

Hinahighlight din po natin sa ngayon as we use the online technology yung continuous innovation and also the digitalization in entrepreneurship during the crisis. I was told that part of the seminars being conducted is how we can push for e-commerce. Ito po ay isang paraan para madagdagan ang inyong reach sa inyong merkado using e-commerce under the New Normal. So importante po talaga matutunan natin the ins and outs of e-commerce, doing in the right way, registering also paying the taxes.

Of course may mga exemption naman po dyan. Sa mga iba ibang levels ng e-commerce and in your registration requirements in paying taxes. But don’t worry importante po talaga eventually ay magregister ang ating negosyo because we believe na ang negosyo po natin ay di lalaki kung hindi registered kailangan registered siya para maabot niya yung maximum – maoptimize natin yung gross natin.

 Ngayon po ay online graduation and this is part of going digital as the New Normal during the pandemic. It is very important that we always think out of the box this times of crisis. Kaya po ngayon ay kami po ay natutuwa na at least po ngayon meron tayong first batch of graduates ng KMME online. Ito po pinapakita po ang inyong determinasyon, yung inyong passion to reboot your business to survive pandemic. There’s always a way. Kasabihan din sa pagnenegosyo kapag nahihirapan tayo we find ways. There is always a way para po magtuloy tuloy po ang ating negosyo at lumago pa and we do it the right way.

Ngayon pandemic actually lumakas ang negosyo sa online and yung mga may online platform at yung nagpapadeliver. Iyan po dati di ganito kalakas ngayon ay lumakas na sila dahil po quarantine ang mga tao nasa bahay– stay at home. Nagkaron po ng opportunity. And as they say pag may crisis may opportunities.

We thanked again our team the DTI Regional Operations Group, ang mga kapartners GO Negosyo, ang atin pong mga mentors – mga masisipag na mentors nationwide. Yung mga original core mentors po natin. Mga entrepreneurs na talagang nagdedicate ng kanilang mga oras at mga kaalaman sa pagshare po ng kanilang mga know hows sa entrepreneurship education. Para lang makuha ninyo ang perspective ng KMME program ito po ay isang matagal ng programa mula 2016 pa at ngayon po ay bibilang natin na may total of about over 44,000 na ang nakinabang ang umattend dito sa mga seminars na ‘to.

Mga Micro SMEs po mga 31,000 and others. Ang regions pong na-cover nationwide about 17 regions we had 343 batches already total number of graduates ay 7,337 at dumami na rin po yung ating pool of mentors at over 700 na ang ating pool of mentors sa ngayon.

Ito pong KMME online was piloted last April 16 at meron pong 46 mentees selected from 150 applications nationwide. Nagpresent po ng business improvement plan last June 9 to 11. Ngayon po itong 45 mentees natapos po nila ang kanilang business improvement plans and you are now graduating ngayon pong June 25 so congratulations po ulit.

So there will be a nationwide roll-out of KMME online program to begin on July 6. Thirty-eight batches of KMME online targeted for the remaining part of the year of 2020. We remind everyone importance of innovation and digitalization to have the micro SME survive the challenges by thinking always out of the box. Sabi ko nga there’s always a better way. So it is the period tingnan natin opportunities globally kahit may mga challenges locally tignan natin yung opportunities sa labas. Tignan din natin kung makakasali tayo magexport tayo ng produkto kung kanino tayo may free trade agreement. Making use of new technologies, automation, robotics, online platforms. Tingnan natin how we can make use of all these tools to help our business grow further.

Again, as new graduate in this program we congratulate you again. We would like to remind you na ang Department of Trade of Industry is offering other programs that you can avail of para po matulungan kayo sa pagnenegosyo ngayong mga panahon na to magbigay po ng Micro Financing. Mga iba pang lectures, webinars na ibibigay po natin para sa inyong kaalaman in terms of doing e-commerce, digital payments, on how we can innovate further our products, other business opportunities.

Umattend lang po ng umattend ng seminars and meron po tayong Pondo para sa Pagbabago at Pagasenso. Huwag kayong magalala kung maubos man ang inyong nilaan nating 1 million pesos tayo po ay may iba pang sources para po maihatid sa inyo ang programa po ng Pondo para sa Pagbabago at Pagasenso P3 program kung saan mababang interest rate at makakahiram kayo kahit walang collateral. So gamitin po natin ito. DTI will always be of aassistance to you all.
