The local industry’s capabilities include aerospace manufacturing, aircraft maintenance repair and overhaul (MRO) and aviation training. The country manufactures aerospace parts, which are being supplied to the world’s largest aircraft manufacturers. Philippine MRO suppliers on the other hand, service aircrafts of at least 14 aircraft manufacturers from over 50 airlines. To supply the manpower requirements of these two sectors, the country has 39 certified aviation schools offering various courses and trainings.

“Our vision is for the local industry to be a recognized partner in maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) and aerospace manufacturing in the Asia Pacific Region,” Usec. Rodolfo added.

The three-day Summit gathers hundreds of aerospace and aviation industry authorities, suppliers, sub-contractors, exhibitors with selling capabilities or services in sales, marketing, business development, and technical promotion, as well as buyers, contractors, decision makers seeking commodities or capabilities for the supply chain, procurement, purchasing, engineering, fabrication, and research & development.

The activities of Aeromart Summit Clark 2018 includes a Plenary Conference happening today at the Quest Hotel, and exhibition, business meetings, and workshops to be held in the next two days (05-06 June 2018) at the ASEAN Convention Center.
