The Philippine Board of Investments (BOI), the lead investments promotion agency of the country, is conducting a BOI Job Fair on July 21, 2017 at the Hall B of the Philippine Trade Training Center (PTTC) in Pasay City where quality career opportunities in various sectors await job seekers especially the newly-graduates.

PH Board of Investments (BOI) Job Fair

Anchored on President Rodrigo Duterte’s Zero+10 Point Socioeconomic Agenda and also on the agency’s mandate to generate local and foreign investments as a way to provide employment opportunities for Filipinos, the BOI Job Fair will allow job seekers to know BOI-registered firms and the job opportunities available for them.

Fifty BOI-registered firms in the sectors of information technology-business process management, tourism, manufacturing, energy, housing, and automotive will participate and offer various job vacancies.

To participate in the BOI Job Fair, job seekers may visit and accomplish the online registration form at the BOI Website. A confirmation email will be sent to the job seeker participant and must present this document at the Job Fair’s Registration Hall at the PTTC. The contact details in the accomplished forms will serve as basis for BOI in notifying the job seeker participants on the schedule of its crash courses on preparing a resume and job interview tips in May and June 2017.

The conduct of the Job Fair is also in line with the agency’s 50th Founding Anniversary on September 16, 2017. With the theme “50 Years of Service Excellence: Building Stronger Industries and Promoting Strategic Investments”, the agency lined up various activities both for its internal and external stakeholders to mark such important milestone.

Since its founding on September 16, 1967 by virtue of Executive Order 266 or the Omnibus Investments Code, the BOI has registered around 14,837 business enterprises with a total investment project value of Php6 Trillion. These investment projects that generally are socially-relevant and greatly improved the lives of the Filipino people, created 2,085,059 in quality jobs.
