Now on its 21st year, the Likha ng Central Luzon Regional Trade Fair seeks to highlight raw Filipino craftsmanship by proudly showcasing the best goods and products from the provinces of Aurora, Bataan, Bulacan, Nueva Ecija, Pampanga, Tarlac, and Zambales.

The trade fair runs through October 2-6, 2019 at the Megatrade Hall 2, located at the 5th floor of the Mega B Building, SM Megamall, Mandaluyong City. It was organized through the combined efforts of the DTI-Region 3 Office, Philexport-Region 3, Regional Development Council-Region 3, and with the support of the Central Luzon growth Corridor Foundation, Inc. (CLGFI) and local government units.

With the theme, “Great Finds, Great Buys”, Likha aims to tap both the domestic and international market by providing an array of selections for retail and wholesale buyers such as, but not limited to, woodcraft, furniture, housewares, traditional clothing, footwear, jewelry, bags, sauces, wine, home décor, delicacies, snacks, and dairy products.

The centerpiece of Likha is the OTOP special setting, which showcased the various specialty products and prototypes of MSMEs from various provinces that have been enrolled under the One Town, One Product (OTOP) – a stimulus program of the Regional Operations Group that aims to help localities develop and market their focus products by assisting MSMEs in product development, design improvement, market access, and the like. The program seeks to empower its OTOPreneurs to innovate and produce quality products, as well as to equip them to become more competitive in an ever-evolving market.

The trade fair also provided a platform to acknowledge the efforts and achievements of various MSMEs through the bestowing of awards in their respective fields of accomplishment: 2018 Likha Top Sellers, Likha Gems Award, Likha Green product Award, Loyalty Award.

With over 150 MSMEs participating this year, Likha aims to reach a combined sale of Php 40 million pesos, in addition to bookings, and provide a wider reach for Filipino-made goods. Truly, the 2019 Likha ng Central Luzon Regional Trade Fair has set the bar for Filipino craftsmanship by offering quality and competitive products to its consumers.♦
