The Department of Trade and Industry’s Philippine Trade and Investment Center (PTIC)-Beijing and Export Marketing Bureau (EMB) organized the participation of Philippine services exporters in the China International Fair for Trade in Services (CIFTIS) held on 02 – 06 September 2023.
CIFTIS is China’s premier trade fair dedicated to services trade. This annual event, held in Beijing, welcomes exhibitors and participants spanning a diverse spectrum of industries, encompassing game development, animation, software development, ICT, telecommunications, logistics, financial services, engineering and construction, healthcare, and tourism, among others. This year, the Philippine participation is conducted solely through the online exhibition format. Through the platform, Philippine services exporters can explore opportunities to engage with Chinese clients, buyers, and investors, and also stay abreast on the latest trends and advancements in their respective service subsectors in China.
This year’s participation highlights the “Make It Happen in the Philippines” campaign, which aims to catapult the Philippines into the international spotlight and promote the Philippines as an investment hub in Asia. Highlighting the country’s proactive and can-do mindset, the campaign showcases the Philippines as a prime choice for foreign investors and clients alike. The online Philippine Pavilion will feature capabilities of the Philippine services sector and key companies.
PTIC-Beijing spearheads the promotion of Philippine companies participating in CIFTIS. Participating companies can harness this opportunity to showcase their offerings at CIFTIS.
