Department of Trade and Industry – Misamis Occidental (DTI-MisOcc) turns over livelihood packages under the Pangkabuhayan para sa Pagbangon at Ginhawa (PPG) program held at Don Victoriano Municipal Gymnasium. 

The livelihood kits were given to 80 ELCAC beneficiaries in Don Victoriano covered under the government’s ELECAC initiative. 

During the turn over of livelihood kits, DTI Assistant Secretary Reveree Niño Contreras said, “Naa diri ang national government ug LGU DonVic para mo tabang sa inyo. Dili mo pasagdan sa gobyerno.” 

Contreras assures ELCAC beneficiaries that the government is here and willing to help in facing the COVID-19 pandemic. 

“The PPG Program is a livelihood seeding and entrepreneurship development program which aims to assist to individuals and families affected by fire incidents and other calamities to recover and/or start their business,” DTI-X Regional Director Linda Boniao said.  

She added that the 80 beneficiaries will be monitored by the DTI-MisOcc adding that the agency will give them more assistance if their business will become successful and if they need more help for expansion.  

DTI-MisOcc will also give livelihood seminars to former member of the NPA and hear queries on concerns about their businesses.♦
