The Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) continues to provide integrated assistance to Filipinos through the Negosyo Konsyumer At Iba Pa, a program intended to heighten the delivery of the agency’s services to entrepreneurs and consumers in the provinces.
The DTI Negosyo, Konsyumer ATBP is a program bringing closer to the micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) focused and integrated menu of DTI Services and Programs targeted to help MSMEs address the challenges they are currently facing in their business operations and improve their competitiveness.
 
The services include four pillars of the 2011-2016 SME Development Plan which are enabling business environment, access to finance, access to market and productivity and efficiency.
 
Likewise, consumer awareness on their rights and importance of standards for quality and safety are among the service offerings.
 
Negosyo, Konsyumer ATBP were already conducted in Davao City and Isabela City, Vigan City, Cebu City, Tacloban City, Legazpi City, Baguio City, Angeles City and General Santos City.
 
Aside from delivering integrated services to the public, the agency also launched during the Negosyo, Konsyumer ATBP. Negosyo Centers with Fabrication Laboratories, Co-Working Spaces and Shared Service Facilities (SSFs) to help MSMEs.
 
A total of 35,881 participants attended the 85 learning sessions during DTI’s NKATBP activities which include Food Safety Seminar, Seminar on Expanding your Business through E-commerce, Consumer and Standard Blitz, Catapulting Business for the Global Market and Capability Building for Women Entrepreneurs and Appreciation of Intellectual Property Rights and Effective Utilization of Trademarks.
 
The agency is also set to run the integrated services program in Cagayan de Oro City, Marikina City, Tagaytay City, Zamboanga City, Iloilo City, and in Butuan City in the next four months.
