The Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) Regional Office No. 2 was awarded the Outstanding Regional Partner Award by the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP) for Implementing BSP Advocacies on the Conduct of Public Information Campaigns category. OIC-Regional Director Ruben B. Diciano received the award during the 2018 Awards Ceremony and Appreciation Lunch for BSP Stakeholders held at Pulsar Hotel, Tuguegarao City on October 16, 2018.

The following criteria were used in choosing the winner for the category: Partnership and Linkages, Data Dissemination and Coverage, Accuracy and Coverage, Program and Initiatives, and Impact and Innovation. The DTI-R02 won over its finalist-contenders, the Philippine Information Agency (PIA) – Region 02 and Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) – Region 2.

The recognition serves to reinforce the BSP’s partnership with the stakeholder; the reinforcement being a seal of gratitude and trust.

An annual event, the awarding ceremony and appreciation lunch emphasizes teamwork – highlighting the importance of each stakeholder’s contribution to the conduct of the BSP’s mandate and advocacies.♦
