Green Energies Technologies Mission

A European business delegation under the EU Business Avenues (EUBA) in South East Asia Programme will be visiting the Philippines later this October to explore business opportunities in the country. With 39 prominent and up-and-coming companies from Austria, Belgium, Czech Republic, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Hungary, Italy, Lithuania, Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden and UK, the visit is part of the two-leg Green Energy Technologies Business Mission, looking into Singapore and the Philippines’ business opportunities in sectors such as hydropower, wind, smart grid, infrastructure, solar energy and biomass.

Based on the successful EU Gateway model of business support, EUBA is a new business development program organized and funded by the Service for Foreign Policy Instruments of the European Union (EU). Focusing on the growing South East Asian Markets, the program aims to strengthen the presence of European companies in South East Asia by organizing one-week business missions to the region. The EU-funded initiative aims to help European companies establish long-lasting business collaborations through matchmaking and business support services.

Supported by the DTI-Board of Investments, the Philippine leg of the Green Energy Technologies business mission, the sixth mission under the EUBA program, will be held on 26-27 October 2017, in time for the Energy Smart Philippines 2017 with which the business mission is co-located. Further details on the mission may be found at the program’s official website here.
