The Department of Trade and Industry – Export Marketing Bureau (EMB) will hold a series of seminars, Usapang Exports, on December 03 – 05, 2019 in Metro Manila as part of the National Exporters’ Week (NEW) Celebration.

On December 03, the DTI-EMB is organizing the Export-Ready! Guide to Exporting for MSMEs info session that will be held at Novotel Araneta Center, Cubao.

Topics that will be discussed include DTI Programs for MSMEs, Global Food Trends & Prospects for Philippine Export Products, and Online Presence for Marketing Success Trends and Future of E-commerce, among others.

Industry experts from Small Business Corporation, DTI – Bureau of Domestic Trade Promotion (BDTP), Mintel Group Ltd., and Great Deals E-Commerce Corp will serve as resource persons and will give their insights on the trends in the export industry.

Meanwhile, the info session on December 04 will be held at St. Giles Hotel, Makati City and will focus more on Product Certification for Exports and Cross-Border Logistics. Topics that will be discussed include Green Business Certification for food and non-food, Halal Certification Updates, IP Cycle from Creation towards Protection and Commercialization, Advantage of Batangas Port, and the Future of Logistics.

Resource Speakers are from the DTI-EMB, Control Union Philippines, Intellectual Property Office of the Philippines (IPOPHIL), Asian Terminal, Inc., and X-Log, among others.

On December 05, the info session will tackle Market Opportunities and Trends in Africa: The Next Frontier. It will also be held at Novotel Araneta Center, Quezon City. Exporters will know more on Market Opportunities in South Africa, Nigeria, Kenya, Morocco, and Ethiopia, among others.
