A big opportunity is up for grab for entrepreneurs and would-be entrepreneurs as the ‘wheels’ of the Mentor Me Program goes to Pangasinan. The Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) Region 1 and Philippine Center for Entrepreneurship (PCE)- Go Negosyo is set to conduct the Mentor Me on Wheels (MMOW) One on One Negosyo Mentorship Program on September 9, 2019 at the Robinsons Place, Calasiao, Pangasinan.

The program aims to bring business mentorship closer to all Filipinos. Through the MMOW, micro-small business owners will be equipped with the technical and practical know-how on entrepreneurship in more convenient and accessible locations.

Around 300 participants from Region 1 are expected to join the free one-day event. PCE is still accepting online confirmation of registration that can be accessed at www.tinyurl.com/MMOWPANGASINAN. Walk-in participants will also be accommodated. DTI urged new business owners to attend the event.

During the event, mentee-participants will get to sit down with a Go Negosyo mentor for a one-on-one mentoring session. 30 Go Negosyo Mentors including local mentors accredited by PCE, will be coming to do business counseling and share their expert views and best practices in running a business. Most of the mentors are experienced businessmen. Additional materials and modules on entrepreneurial mind-setting and marketing will be available to provide supplemental knowledge on managing micro and small businesses.

DTI Region 1 Director Grace Falgui-Baluyan stated that this is the 1st MMOW run in the region. “With the MMOW, MSMEs will be guided in the achievement of their business’ success. We believe that the mentorship is an essential factor in guiding MSMEs towards the realization of their dreams.” she added.♦
