DTI-CAR and the Philippine Trade Training Center (PTTC) conducts an awareness write-shop on food safety as a documentary requirement of the Philippine Food and Drug Administration (FDA) in order for SMEs to be issued with a License to Operate (LTO). Engr. Menandro Ortego (left) of FDA-LTO discusses basic food safety and basic food processing technologies to participants from CAR who are mostly engaged in food processing and manufacturing. Participants from the CAR provinces also learned labeling requirements by FDA.
