To help housewives generate additional income, the Negosyo Center-Cotabato City held a Skills Training Seminar on Rags-Making last January 20, 2018 at Purok 6, Rosary Heights 9, Cotabato City. In partnership with the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD), the said activity was attended by 35 women.

Resource person Ms. Josephina Bonete from DSWD taught the participants on how to make rags from used clothes, which served as the raw material. Out of the rags, participants were able to produce potholders. The rags and its by-products can then be sold to the market, and can be a viable source of income for these women.

In addition, the NC-Cotabato City Senior Business Counsellor Sharmagne Joyce S. Edio oriented the participants on the major services of the Negosyo Center, such as: Business Registration, Business Advisory, and Business Information and Advocacy. Edio urged the participants to visit the Negosyo Center and attend its free seminars.♦
