Negosyo Center R12 Seminar
To equip business owners and aspiring entrepreneurs with the proper entrepreneurial mindset, three (3) Negosyo Centers in Region 12 conducted Entrepreneurial Mind Setting Seminars. It was conducted by the Negosyo Center-Tulunan on January 13, the Negosyo Center-Cotabato City on January 8 and 15, and the Negosyo Center-Tacurong on January 29.
Conducted in partnership with the Municipality of Tulunan – Public Employment Service Office (PESO), the said seminar was held at Farmer’s Training Center, Tulunan, North Cotabato. It was attended by a total of 51 members from the New Tulunan OFWs Family Circle and Sibsib Tulunan Sandiya Association.
 
Alongside with the participants was Hon. Mayor Reuel “Pip” Limbungan of Tulunan, who shared his own experience as a businessman, and at the same time, encouraged them to venture into business.
 
On Entrepreneurial Mindsetting, Business Counsellor (BC) Jake Camasura gave a lecture on the importance of cultivating the proper entrepreneurial mindset in order to succeed in business. In addition, he taught the participants how to do simple bookkeeping, and showed them how to prepare the income statement, and balance sheet.
 
After the lectures, BC Christine Queen L. Dueñas gave an overview of the P3 Program as well as discussed the three major functions of the Negosyo Center, namely: Business Registration Assistance, Business Advisory, and Business Information and Advocacy.
 
On behalf of the participants, President of New Tulunan OFW Family Circle Mrs. Mary Grace Salazar, and President of Sibsib Tulunan Sandiya Vendors Association Mr. Juan Tabalno thanked the Negosyo Center and LGU-Tulunan for conducting the seminar which changed their mindset and equipped them with entrepreneurial skills
 
On the other hand, the Negosyo Center-Cotabato City gave the same seminar to 15 NC II Electronics and 15 NC Baking and Cake Making students, in partnership with the Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA). Likewise, the Negosyo Center-Tacurong also held the same seminar on January 29, 2018 at the Negosyo Center.♦
