The Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) Isabela Provincial Office in partnership with the Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR) for the greening program conducted training on Corn Husk Crafts Making on February 21-24, 2017 at the Sanctuary Eco Park, Santa Victoria, City of Ilagan, Isabela.

The four-day training is aimed at promoting the processing of corn husk materials, abundant natural resources in Isabela into souvenir items for tourist and visitors of the Sanctuary Eco Park.

Participants of the training were volunteers from barangay Santa Catalina, Santa Victoria, and barangay Fuyu. .

Participants were taught on the basics of corn husk crafts making and procedures of twining, among others.

DTI Isabela Provincial Office Division Chief Clifford R. Gregorio delivered his inspirational talk in lieu of DTI Isabela Provincial Director Ma. Salvacion A. Castillejos,

Forester Elmer R. Cuana was also present in the activity with some staff who facilitated the hands-on training of the Corn Husk Making.
