The DTI-Quirino Provincial Office, through the Negosyo Center Diffun and in partnership with the Diffun Municipal Social Welfare and Development Office (MSWDO) recently conducted a series of entrepreneurship seminars under the SME Roving Academy (SMERA) Program of the Department on October 16-20, 2017 at the RPBA Processing Center, Brgy. Rafael Palma, Diffun, Quirino.

A total of 24 participants who are also 4Ps beneficiaries attended the activity.  Mr. Godfrey Bariuan, DTI SMERA counsellor acted as the resource person for the entrepreneurship seminars.

The series of seminars were conducted in response to the request of the officers and members of Rafael Palma Bakers Association (RPBA) in Rafael Palma, Diffun, Quirino, a non-government organization assisted by the Diffun MSWDO under 4Ps Office of the LGU. 

The entrepreneurship seminars covered modules and subjects on the following: How to Start and Sustain a Business & Business Name Registration and Permits Procedure; Customer Relationship Management; Product Costing and Pricing; Food Safety and 5S of Good Housekeeping, and Personality Development and Good Grooming.

The training modules aimed to capacitate the beneficiaries with additional tools to help them improve and sustain their business enterprise on the production of breads and pastries and become more competitive. 

The seminar was a result of intensive promotional activities undertaken by Diffun NC Coordinator, Ms. Karen Grace I. Garcia on the services provided by the Center.
