The Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) Quirino Provincial Office attended the orientation and a follow-up workshop on the updating of the Provincial Development Investment Plan (PDIP) on 10 -12 January 2017.

The PDIP is a six-year investment program covering all investments to be implemented in the province. It also contains nationally funded and foreign-assisted programs and project that need local counterparts. It also guides the PLGU in aligning development projects with effective and efficient delivery of services to its community.

The members of the workshop submitted the individual plans containing programs, activities and projects and corresponding budget for the next 6 years to be incorporated to the PDIP.

In attendance were the different national government agencies, academe, local government and non-government organizations.

The workshop was facilitated by provincial planning development officers. Ma. Sofia G. Narag, OIC Provincial Director and Shiela Nera, TIDS represented DTI-Quirino.
