Relative to the inauguration ceremony of the Aritao Growth Center on February 10, 2017, an orientation seminar entitled “Doing Business in the Aritao Growth Center (AGC)” was conducted by the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) Nueva Vizcaya  through its Negosyo Center on February 16, 2017 in ACG, Brgy. Banganan, Aritao, Nueva Vizcaya.

The conduct of the orientation seminar  is aimed at increasing the awareness and knowledge of the tenants and other occupants regarding Business Licensing Regulations, Consumer Welfare and different programs and services of DTI particularly the services of the Negosyo Center located in Aritao.

Mr. Alberto Pamatian, CTIDS of IDD discussed the topics about the licensing services of DTI particularly the Business Name Registration (BNR), Sales Promotion, and Repair Shop Accreditation.

The speaker also discussed the advantages of having accreditations from the agency and the requirements needed for the mentioned licenses and registrations.

On the other hand, Ms. Preciosa A. Maglaya, CTIDS of CWID and InDD focused on the topics of Consumer Rights and Fair Trade Laws. This includes the roles and responsibilities that both entrepreneurs and consumers must do to observe fairness and equality in doing business.

Questions related to price tag and securing of DTI permit were asked by the participants during the open forum. All issues and concerns were properly addressed by Ms. Maglaya and Mr. Pamatian.

Mr. Encar T. Marquez, the Negosyo Center Coordinator of Aritao also tackled the services that are being offered by the Negosyo Center in the area. This includes appropriate trainings and seminars for the growth of the MSMEs in the municipality.

In attendance were the 40 AGC occupants, eight (8) market vendors, Mr. Berwasan Agmaliw, AIPO Designate and Ms. Ana Rose Ceril, the BPLO of the Municipality.

The DTI Nueva Vizcaya was represented by Mr. Alberto Pamatian, CTIDS together with Ms. Preciosa A. Maglaya, CTIDS and Ms. Encar T. Marquez, the Negosyo Center Coordinator of Aritao.
