Region 2 Products displayed during the GREAT Women Trade Fair in Makati City.

Various best quality products of six (6) women-microentrepreneurs’ (WMEs) from region 2 were showcased during the GREAT Women Trade Fair held on March 21 to April 25, 2017 at the OTOP Makati Showroom, Makati City.

The GREAT Women Trade Fair is the very first national trade fair intended solely for the GREAT Women Project 2 beneficiaries. It showcased different women-microentrepreneurs’ products from the different regions in the country.

For region 2, among the products displayed by the participating WMEs were crafty baskets of Handicraft Weavers and Vegetable Growers Association of Batanes, creative fossilized flowers of Maddela Flowers and Crafts; well-known pasalubong from Tuguegarao City, the Chicharabao of Lighthouse Cooperative, Inc., freshly baked peanuts of Alcala Women’s RIC MPC, sweet delicacies out of dates of Mid-East Sweets, and healthy fruit wines of RLGV Fruit Wine.

About P82, 000.00 total sales were generated by the six (6) participating WMEs from the region. Highest contributor of which is Nueva Vizcaya’s Mideast Sweets which garnered amounting to P26,880, followed by Cagayan’s Lighthouse Cooperative, Inc. which garnered P25,937.50 sales.
