The Department of Trade and Industry Bataan Provincial Office (DTI Bataan), through its Negosyo Center, participated in the TNK Caravan of the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) in celebration of the 2017 Labor Day on May 5, 2017 at Vista Mall, Balanga City, Bataan. The event was held in coordination with the provincial government and its Public Employment Services Office.
DTI served a total of 108 walk-in clients who were provided with services like one-on-one business consultation, answering different queries on How to register their Business Name, How to start a small business, Financing and Business Consultancy. Moreover, DTI accepted job applications for the five job seekers for Negosyo Center Business Counselor.
In addition, information materials were disseminated to the 108 attendees on entrepreneurship related topics like the Go Negosyo Act, A Guide in Registering Your Business; Do You Know Your Consumer Rights, Starting A Business-Salted Dried Split Fish, Pedicab/Padyak Operation, Seaweed Production, Alugbati Production Guide, Okra Production Guide, Carrot Production Guide, Philippine Business Registration, Cucumber Production Guide, Lettuce Production Guide, Sweet Potato Production, Seed Production of Eggplants, Seed Production of Tomato, Surcharge Sa Credit Card, How to Grow Mums, Seed Production of Pole Sitao, The E-Kawayan Technology, Propagation of Giant bamboo by Branch Cutting and Sweet Pea Production.
Out of 108 clients, 18 potential Micro Small and Medium Enterprises were invited to the Seminar on How to Start a Small Business on May 9, 2017 at Negosyo Center Bataan Provincial Office.
