The rising city of San Jose Del Monte in Bulacan hosted the formal opening of the newest Negosyo Center to be established in Central Luzon. DTI Undersecretary for Regional Operations Group Zenaida C. Maglaya led the opening of the center in ceremonies held at the government express center inside the SM Mall in the City of San Jose Del Monte. The center is the 450TH Negosyo Center to be established in the country.

Undersecretary Maglaya stressed the initiative of the government to bring services closer to Negosyantes. She expressed her gratitude for the support of private mall owners, specifically SM Malls in providing them a comfortable venue to provide services to the people of the city, especially the Micro Small and Medium Enterprises.

For City Mayor Arthur Robes, the new Negosyo Center will enhance the economic activities of his local government further, noting that their large population will benefit from the increased economic activities. It will also help in mainstreaming micro enterprises in the underground economy, especially the market vendors. The Mayor listed the strides they have made in making their city more progressive. He also noted that within the next five years, they expect the completion of the Metro Rail Transit (MRT) station which would connect the city to the National Capital Region.
