Post Disaster Needs Assessment (PDNA) Mission and Writeshop

Right after the conduct of the Post Disaster Needs Assessment (PDNA) Mission and Writeshop on May 2 – 6, 2017 in Batangas Province, the Regional Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council IV-A (RDRRMC IV-A) organized a Writeshop cum Validation Workshop on the Preparation of Rehabilitation and Recovery Plan for Batangas Earthquake Swarm at the Alta ‘D Tagaytay, Iruhin East, Tagaytay City, Cavite on May 31 – June 1, 2017.

The Department of Trade and Industry is part of the said council and the lead agency for the Productive Sector in the PDNA.

The activity aims to have recovery and rehabilitation plans for each sector and to identify possible sources of funds and priority programs and projects. Funds may come from the Office of Civil Defense (OCD), participating government agencies, and local government units (LGUs).

The recovery and rehabilitation plan in the report was presented to the RDRRMC IV-A on June 2, 2017 for reporting and validation purposes before it will presented to the National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council for further verification and approval.
