As part of government’s advocacy programs to assist Overseas Filipino Workers (OFWs), the Department of Trade and Industry – Guimaras Provincial Office will conduct a monthly Entrepreneurship Seminar for OFW clients.

The seminar will be conducted every second Tuesday of every month, which will aid OFWs or their family in setting up a business.

Four OFWs from Hong Kong, Kuwait, Singapore and Brunei attended the briefing at the DTI Guimaras Provincial Office last June 13, 2018.

Information on how to start a business, qualities of being an entrepreneur and the necessary licenses/permits needed in starting a business were discussed during the briefing.

To date, a total of 39 OFWs attended the Entrepreneurship Seminar given by DTI Guimaras.
