Some 49 additional shared service facilities (SSF) will be established this year to enhance the needs of micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) in the region, with the Province of Antique getting the lion’s share of the project with 33 SSFs.
The Province of Aklan has proposed five (5) SSFs to be established; Capiz with one (1) SSF; Guimaras with two (2) facilities; Iloilo with six (6) facilities; and, Negros Occidental proposed to establish two (2) facilities.
These facilities aims to improve production and output in the priority industry clusters of cacao, coffee, coco coir, processed foods, bamboo, wearables and homestyle, and gifts, decors and housewares.
