HONG KONG – The Department of Trade and Industry through its trade and investment promotion arm in Hong-Kong, the Philippine Trade and Investment Center (PTIC-HK) in collaboration with the Philippine Consulate General in Hong Kong (PCGHK) joined the International Culture, Tourism, and Intangible Cultural Heritage Exhibition (ICTICHE) on 30 June 2023 to 2 July 2023 at the AsiaWorld Expo, Hong Kong.

Hong-Kong investors and government officials attended the three-day event which showcased unique designs of traditional apparels, accessories, and art pieces from the Philippines and different countries worldwide, generating a number of sales and bulk order inquiries.

The Philippines’ participation in the expo supports the country’s emerging creative economy by further promoting the Philippines as a source destination of creative goods and services. Through these cultural participations, DTI also broadens strategic linkages with key players in the creative industry sector globally.

Additionally, the Philippine booth featured artworks and accessories from Kambal Gallery and Fashion Accessory Makers of the Philippines (FAMPh). The Philippines’ engagement in the expo was jointly sponsored by the Philippine Airlines and the San Miguel Brewery Hong Kong Limited. ♦
