SG based Filipinos entrep seminar

The Philippine Department of Trade and Industry’s (DTI) Philippine Trade & Investment Centre (PTIC)-Singapore recently presented at a seminar organized by The Global Filipino Investors (TGFI) with over 200 Singapore-based Filipinos participants. PTIC Commercial Counsellor Glenn Peñaranda shared DTI’s initiatives and projects in promoting and spurring entrepreneurship in the Philippines and abroad. Encouraging overseas Filipinos to invest in the Philippines and urging them to become entrepreneurs are key initiatives of the Philippine government to achieve inclusive growth. The event featured Jerry Ilao, owner of Ink-All-You-Can, and member of Association of Filipino Franchisers of the Philippines. TGFI is a community geared to promote financial literacy to improve the financial well-being of Filipinos. DTI continues to encourage overseas Filipino investors to explore idea-based, demand-driven and innovation-led business and investment opportunities back home in the industries of food, franchising, agriculture and services.♦
