Food and non-food products of nine micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) assisted by the Comprehensive Agrarian Reform Program (CARP) of DTI-Kalinga are being showcased at the Kalinga Treasures Fair 2022, which runs from 12 – 27 February 2022 at National Road, Bulanao Norte, Tabuk City, Kalinga.

In celebration of the 37th Foundation Anniversary of Kalinga, the Department of Trade and Industry – Kalinga Provincial Office stages the Kalinga Treasures Trade Fair 2022 to showcase and promote the different products including the artistry and industriousness of MSMEs in the province. Products of MSMEs assisted under the Comprehensive Agrarian Reform Program namely Mananig Multi-Purpose Cooperative, Daram Cudal Multi-Purpose Cooperative, Gawidan Malin-awaan Marketing Cooperative, Antonio Canao Multi-Purpose Cooperative, Changoy Beaders Association, Challeger’s Agriculture Cooperative, Ej-Ed Food Products, Eba Food Products and Regine Food Products are exhibited in a special booth for ARBOs and ARBs. These products have gone through product development assistances particularly on the enhancement of the packaging and labelling, and laboratory tests. The conduct of trade fair is one of the most sought marketing assistances by our CARP clients during these hard times – in the heights of a pandemic.

The participation of DTI-CARP to the Kalinga Treasures Trade Fair is expected to generate a total sale of P200,000.00 and jobs of at least 50 in number. On top of the participation, ARBOs are hoping to get institutionalized buyers to be their partners in marketing and selling activities. ♦
