On 10 June 2021, Department of Trade and Industry-Shared Service Facilities (DTI-SSF) Team consisted of SSF Provincial Coordinator Ma. Graciela C. Ledesma and SSF Support Staff Dara Jannes C. Obmerga visited KoopNaman MPC in Lucena City. This activity aims to assess and inspect the new target location of SSF for meat processing of the said cooperative.

Initially, KoopNaman MPC requested approval of DTI to transfer the SSF in Sariaya, Quezon to their main office in Lucena City with the advantages such as they will be able to closely monitor the day-to-day operations of the project at their main office, supply chain will be more effective since most of the raw materials and the marketing of finished products are in Lucena City and there will be more community or other MSMEs that can be served by the SSF since most of their members live in Lucena City.

As per DTI-SSF Team inspection the new target location will be more advantageous to the cooperative. For the preparation of the said transfer, KoopNaman MPC needs to submit an official letter to the DTI Regional Office and to submit to the Provincial Office the current production capacity of each machine and the production layout for the new location.♦
