Barbershops, salons and food establishments in Cagayan de Oro City and Misamis Oriental can now cater to more customers as their allowable on-site operational capacities are increased.

The ease of limitations comes after Cagayan de Oro City and Misamis Oriental were placed under general community quarantine (GCQ) with heightened restrictions from October 1 to 31, 2021.

Under GCQ with heightened restrictions, outdoor dine-in services are now allowed up to 50% operational capacity while in-door dining is allowed at 30-50%.

Beauty salons, barbershops, beauty parlors, and nail spas are allowed to operate at 50% while other personal care service which include make-up salons, medical aesthetic clinics, cosmetic or derma clinics, reflexology, aesthetics, wellness and holistic centers, and other similar establishments; acupuncture and electrocautery establishments, and massage therapy including sports therapy establishments are allowed at 30% but limited to services that can accommodate the wearing of face masks at all times by clients and service providers.

Other personal care service also includes establishments providing tanning services, body piercings, tattooing and similar services.

Meanwhile, non-contact sports courts or venues or activities, such as, but not limited to, walking, jogging, and running; golf; tennis and badminton; equestrian; range shooting, archery, and Philippine Sports Commission (PSC) authorized venues and sanctioned activities for training purposes, including National Golf Association of the Philippines (NGAP) trainings are now allowed from 50% to 100%.
