Local micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) in Bukidnon generated P826,426.00 in sales during the Madagaya Trade Fair: Bukidnon’s Bounty.

The first-ever Madagaya Trade Fair held on 3 – 11 December 2021, in Robinsons Place Valencia was the first physical trade fair organized by the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) Bukidnon in 2021.

A total of 1,902 business inquiries were also made to the participating MSMEs that include farmers, manufacturers, artisans, processors, and weavers.

The trade fair featured more than 100 products such as coffee, tablea, gifts, wearables, weaved bags and mats, furniture, paintings, specialty food, health and wellness products, and even eco-friendly products.

Participating MSMEs were those that have been assisted through DTI’s programs—One Town, One Product (OTOP), Kapatid Mentor ME (KMME), Rural Agro-Industrial Partnership for Inclusive Development (RAPID), Negosyo Center (NC), Shared Service Facility (SSF), Integrated Natural Resources Environmental Management Project Livelihood Enhancement Support 2 (INREMP – LES 2), and Comprehensive Agrarian Reform Program (CARP).

The Madagaya Trade Fair: Bukidnon’s Bounty is an initiative of DTI in partnership with Valencia City LGU, Valencia City Chamber of Commerce and Industry Association Inc., and Robinsons Place Valencia. ♦
