DTI MisOr grants livelihood kits to 70 flood, fire victims in Bulua

Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) Misamis Oriental granted livelihood kits to 70 fire and flood victims residing in Barangay  Bulua, Cagayan de Oro City during the Livelihood Seeding Program (LSP)–Pangkabuhayan sa Pagbangon at Ginhawa (PPG) Program Turnover Ceremony in Barangay Bulua, Cagayan de Oro City last 18 March 2022.

Cagayan de Oro City Councilor Jay Roa Pascual, Bulua Barangay Captain Al Legaspi Jr., and DTI Misamis Oriental Provincial Director Almer Masillones led the distribution of P8,000 worth of sari-sari store, bigasan, and e-loading kits.

Fifty-one (51) sari-sari store, 16 bigasan, and 3 e-loading kits were distributed.

The PPG Program is one of the initiatives of the government and DTI that aims to help micro entrepreneurs and individuals who were affected by natural and man-made calamities such as typhoons, earthquakes , volcanic eruptions, flash floods, fires, health emergencies or pandemics and local armed conflicts.  ♦
