The Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) released the latest suggested retail price (SRP) list for basic goods and prime commodities as of 11 May 2022.

DTI Region 10 continues its conduct of price and supply monitoring of BNPC under the department’s jurisdiction to ensure establishments comply with the latest SRP released on May 11, 2022.

The price adjustments were due to increasing prices of raw and packaging materials.

The price increases of basic necessities are for selected canned sardines, processed milk, coffee, instant noodles, salt, and detergent and laundry soap.

For prime commodities, the price increases are for selected processed and canned pork, processed and canned beef, vinegar, patis, soy sauce, toilet soap, and batteries.
