Pasinaya - Digital Marketing Showroom and Online Trade Plaform

Flaunting the pride and the best of Northern Mindanao in the digital sphere, nineteen (19) competitive and resilient food entrepreneurs joined the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) and One Town, One Product (OTOP) virtual trade fair—Pasinaya: Digital Market Showroom and Online Trade Platform on 20-24 July 2020.

Pasinaya is the first digital showroom and a kickoff of DTI’s new normal trade fairs. The virtual trade fair will serve as a platform where buyers will be able to meet, source and connect digitally to the best products of homegrown, regional micro, small, and medium enterprise (MSME) exhibitors through various showrooms on Zoom, a popular web-based conferencing tool.

Northern Mindanao food exhibitors include Mama Nene’s Homemade Delights and Maramag Tablea in Bukidnon, Maestrado Tablea and Soling’s Food Products in Camiguin; Dackies Foods in Lanao del Norte; Delta Business Ventures, D’ Farm, Lola Luz’ Best Goodies, and Nelly’s Coffee and Tablea in Misamis Occidental; and Cape de Ticala and JVCare Food Specialty Co. in Misamis Oriental.

Non-food exhibitors are OJ’s Arts & Crafts and Tagolwanen Women Weavers Association in Bukidnon; R. Escodero Handicraft in Camiguin; Keepsakes Iligan Souvenirs and Crafts, Acscents Perfumes & Blends, and Perfectly Natural Herbsin Lanao del Norte; and Puyo Handicrafts and Tinabuan Arts and Crafts in Misamis Oriental.

It is organized in celebration of the National MSME Week from 20-24 July, 2020. This online platform is one of the initiatives of DTI-Regional Operations Group spearheaded by Undersecretary Blesila Lantayona to digitally equip MSMEs and widen their market online as they embrace the digitalization and e-commerce in the new environment. ♦
