virtual Assessment, Consultation and Triage (ACT) session via Zoom

KORONADAL CITY, SOUTH COTABATO – Department of Trade and Industry 12 (DTI-12) through its Sarangani Province Office conducted a virtual Assessment, Consultation and Triage (ACT) session to the 18 food micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) of the province last September 22.

The activity aims to assist the local food processors in developing their products particularly in the areas of product label, packaging, production process, and quality.

To execute the activity, DTI has tapped the services of industry practitioners particularly in the field of food technology for product quality concerns and graphic designing for label execution.

The ACT session is among the package of services given by DTI to budding MSMEs under the One Town, One Product Program that seeks to scale up beneficiaries through product development, branding, marketing and other interventions; and is considered as a priority stimulus program of the agency.

Aside from food processors, DTI also provides assistance to homestyle and wearable MSMEs in improving their products through updates on market trends and designs and coaching with reputable local design consultants. ♦
