Now in its second year, the bazaar is located at the Midsayap Municipal Plaza and is being participated in by 40 DTI-assisted MSMEs.

In addition to product selling, the event, which will run until August 20, also features free business development trainings, including an IPO Orientation and Trademark Application Session, a Visual Merchandising Seminar, an Online Marketing and Promotion Seminar, and an MSME Digitalization: Business Automation Session.

In an interview during the opening of the bazaar, DTI Region 12 Regional Director Flora Politud-Gabunales expressed her support for local initiatives that promote products of local entrepreneurs, as well as the active participation of the private sector, particularly those in the creative industry.

“We are very pleased that the initiative to promote business and the products of local MSMEs is being spearheaded by the LGU of Midsayap. What’s even more exciting is the active participation of individuals in the creative sector, including those involved in event organizing, catering services, and the arts. All of these falls under the Creative Industry, which is a priority sector being supported by DTI under the current administration,” said Politud-Gabunales.

The showcased products include inaul, a locally woven fabric crafted by the Maguindanaon people, wearables, homestyle items made from indigenous materials, as well as processed food products. ♦
