Cagayan Valley Region stuns once again with a Special Citation in the Katha Awards of IFEX Philippines.
We are thrilled to announce that Cagayan Valley Region has yet again gleamed with a “special citation award” in the Katha Awards during the International Food Exhibition (IFEX) Philippines held at the World Trade Center Metro Manila, Pasay City, which runs on May 26-28, 2023.
Region 2 made the whole place shimmer as it was awarded for having the best regional booth presentation for this year’s IFEX. Among the participating regions, the “Padday na Lima” booth stands out, flaunting the distinct innovations and certified products of our MSMEs from the region, primed for the global market.
Aside from the export-quality goods, we are putting the spotlight on the pre-processed products in institutional packs as the region aims to cater to big manufacturing companies and be known as a significant institutional supplier of food products for all sectors.
It may also be recalled that during last year’s IFEX, the region was awarded a Special Citation for the Quirino Province’s Ube Powder, under the brand JaBes, from the Quirino Young Entrepreneurs Association (QYEA).
The MSME exhibitors and DTI R2 officers had an absolute blast staging the upgraded products that the region has to offer in terms of exports.
