Concluded on 31 January 2022, the Business One Stop Shop (BOSS) DTI Desk setup to ensure quick and seamless business name processing in the six towns of Quirino Province received a total of 784 applications.

Out of the total applications received from 4-31 January 2022, 720 are new business registrations and 64 are renewals.

Aside from business name-related assistance, the Business Counsellors tasked to man the DTI desk, provided all transacting clients with a brief discussion with information materials regarding Negosyo Center Services and various existing Fair-Trade Laws.

The Business Counsellors also encouraged the business owners who are not yet engaged in ecommerce to start shifting by accepting cashless payments and creating online stores to address and adapt to the demands of the pandemic.

The said accomplishments were made possible through the strong collaboration of the six Negosyo Centers and the Municipal Local Government Units.

The BOSS is the office’s contribution to the agency’s commitment to facilitating ease of doing business and cutting red tape in government frontline services. ♦
