Lorelie G. Valdez is the owner of RLGV Fruit Wine Industry, a fruit winery in the municipality of Alicia, Isabela established in year 2014. Processing wine started as a hobby of Lorelie, with her family’s encouragement and support, her hobby soon became her business. RLGV Fruit Wine Industry manufactures Bignay wine from fresh harvested currant berries.

Anchored in their vision “to produce the best fruit wine in Cagayan Valley,” she works hard refining her way up to success. Through the years, their winery has improved, from a few volumes of wine to thousands of liters produced per production period .

In 2017, she joined the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) and GoNegosyo’s Kapatid Mentor ME (KMME) Program as part of the first Mentor ME batch. With the learnings she had acquired in the mentoring sessions since then, she applied the insights from the mentorship program to grow her business.

Lorelie believes that a ‘dream does not become a reality through magic; firm determination and hard work are needed to make it possible.’ So, she perseveres and seeks assistance from government agencies like DTI that would help her improve her business and gain market advantage. ♦
