The beneficiaries of the Pangkabuhayan sa Pagbangon at Ginhawa (PBG) program with their livelihood kits.

LILIW, LAGUNA – The Department of Trade and Industry – Laguna Provincial Office (DTI-Laguna) through its Pangkabuhayan sa Pagbangon at Ginhawa (PBG) program distributed thirteen (13) livelihood kits as a form of assistance to selected Liliw micro-entrepreneurs whose sari-sari stores, eatery, and computer shop were affected by the pandemic. Each beneficiary received five thousand worth of livelihood kit packages. 

The 13 beneficiaries are residents of Brgy. Bayate, Bungkol, and Tuy-Baanan in Liliw, Laguna. The said barangays are three among the 12 identified PBG priority areas in Laguna. 

Present during the awarding ceremony is DTI-Laguna Chief Trade and Industry Development Specialist Marcelina B. Alcantara, Liliw Municipal Administrator Mary Maileen Sulibit, and Brgy. Chairmen Tirso Buenconsejo, Joselito Arjona, and Josefino de Vera.  After the PBG beneficiaries’ signing of pledge of commitment forms and awarding ceremony, three beneficiaries availed the DTI Negosyo Center Liliw Business Name Registration service. All beneficiaries were able to secure their respective DTI Business Name certificates. ♦
