The Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) Quezon, in partnership with the Canadian Executive Service Organization (CESO), conducted an entry meeting via Zoom with Maureen Pasciolco, Owner of Pasciolco Agri Ventures in Tiaong, Quezon, and James Ross, Canadian Volunteer Advisor. Ms. Pasciolco is one of the recipients of the Accelerating Women’s Empowerment (AWE) program of Region 4A, which supports women-led MSMEs engaged in ginger and turmeric production and processing.

The purpose of the meeting was to discuss the six-week assignment of CESO from 6 January – 10 February 2022. The main purpose of the CESO engagement is to assist and mentor the staff of Pasciolco Agri Ventures in acquiring the necessary knowledge and skills in effective communication, report and technical writing, public speaking, and effective presentation to represent and promote their products and company well. This can lead to market expansion and increased sales and revenues.

Present in the meeting were Erwin Altamarino, CESO Project Officer, and DTI Quezon staff, Honeylee Eclavea. ♦
