The Department of Trade and Industry Region 4-A is holding its annual KALAKAL CALABARZON regional trade fair with the theme, “Gawa ng CALABARZON; Galing ng CALABARZON,” on 20 – 26 June 2022 at the Palm Drive Activity Center, Glorietta 2, Ayala Center, Makati City. This is in partnership with DTI’s Provincial Offices of Cavite, Laguna, Batangas, Rizal, and Quezon.

Reinforcing the DTI-Bureau of Domestic Trade Promotion’s (BDTP) drive in promoting and supporting the local micro, small, and medium enterprises, KALAKAL will showcase products from 66 MSMEs from the region. These CALABARZON MSMEs are the beneficiaries of different DTI interventions under the auspices of the SME Development Division such as the One Town, One Product (OTOP) NextGen program, Shared Service Facilities (SSF) program, Kapatid Mentor ME (KMME) program, and Comprehensive Agrarian Reform (CARP) program, which enabled them to improve and enhance the quality, design, and marketability of their products.

“After two years of conducting KALAKAL CALABARZON online due to the pandemic, we are thrilled to once again conduct a physical trade fair this year, and it will be held in Makati City for the first time. We have so many exciting things in store for our buyers. As we continue to provide a venue for promotion and selling of our MSMEs’ products and services, we are asking the public for your support to our local entrepreneurs to help them recover and sustain their businesses,” said DTI 4-A OIC-Regional Director Marissa C. Argente.
