Pakil, Laguna To continuously-assist the MSMEs of the 5th and 6th class municipalities in sustaining their thriving businesses, the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) Laguna in partnership with the local government of Pakil, Laguna through its Negosyo Center, has finally awarded the livelihood kits to the twenty-four (24) identified beneficiaries of Livelihood Seeding Program – Negosyo Serbisyo sa Barangay (LSP-NSB) program from four different barangays of western part of Pakil, Laguna.

The said event was grace by the DTI and LGU key officials namely; DTI-IVA Regional Director Marilou Q. Toledo, DTI-Laguna Provincial Director Clarke S. Nebrao, LGU-Pakil Mayor Hon. Vincent L. Soriano, Pakil Municipal Administrator Ronald James V. Hidalgo, Pakil Councilor Hon. Joy Maray and Pakil ABC Chair Hon. Elmer Estalero.

Moreover, this event has also been an avenue where LGU Pakil as represented by its Mayor Hon. Vincent L. Soriano has finally received its Plaque of Recognition for being 2nd Place in Government Efficiency in the 5th and 6th class category during the 8th Regional Competitiveness Summit held last 18 December 2020.

The LSP-NSB program of Department of Trade and Industry aims to provide assistance to the main catalyst of the economy, the micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) greatly affected by natural and or other human induce calamity such as epidemics and pandemics. ♦
