VICTORIA, LAGUNA – In order to promote ease of doing business and to ensure access to government services within a jurisdiction, the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) – Laguna Provincial Office through its Negosyo Centers participate in this year’s Business One-Stop Shop (BOSS). Approximately 1,000 business name registrations were processed in 21 Negosyo Centers in Laguna during the first five days of the BOSS implementation.

Aside from business name registration assistance, each Negosyo Center also provided entrepreneurs with services such as registrations of Barangay Micro Business Enterprise Certificates of Authority and one-on-one business coaching.

BOSS is one of the features of the Republic Act No. 11032, also known as the Ease of Doing Business and Efficient Government Delivery Act of 2018 (EDB Law). It is a single location, website, or convergence point for national government agencies, local government units, and the private sector to promote ease of doing business and to shorten the timeline for transactions with the government.♦
