Los Baños, Laguna – The Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) Laguna’s Negosyo Center, instituted on 2016, kicked off its fifth founding anniversary celebration via Zoom on 24 August 24 2021, with the theme “Enabling micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) to grow, compete and excel”.

Regional Director (RD) Marilou Q. Toledo led the commemoration by recognizing the role of Negosyo Center personnel, stakeholders and partners in their continuous efforts to provide holistic and tailor-made assistance to entrepreneurs.

The virtual event also showcased messages from MSMEs thanking the department for its commitment in pursuing its mission to help aspiring entrepreneurs.

Provincial Director Clarke S. Nebrao noted that the collaboration of internal and external partners and stakeholders helped in intensifying the promotion of entrepreneurship possible this time of pandemic.

A total of 45 business owners, representatives from local government units and aspiring entrepreneurs across the province participated in the virtual event. ♦
