The Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) Quezon launched its Negosyo Center in Tagkawayan, Quezon on 5 November 2021. It is considered the 30th established Negosyo Center in the province of Quezon. The program started in 2014, and since then, more centers have been set up nationwide, bringing the ease of doing business closer to micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) in all regions.

Attendees of the aforementioned event included the Regional Director of DTI Region 4A, Marilou Q. Toledo, the Provincial Director of DTI Quezon, Julieta L. Tadiosa, and other staff from DTI Quezon. On the part of LGU, it was spearheaded by their Municipal Mayor, Luis Oscar T. Eleazar, Vice Mayor, Danilo L. Liwanag, and other heads of offices. Different business associations like Agos ng Pag-asa, Tagkawayan Weavers, Ilapan Bee Farms, and other MSMEs in the said municipality were seen there. Also present at the said event was Cricelda Chumacera, a Kapatid Mentor ME (KMME) graduate at DTI Quezon Provincial Office. Mayor Eleazar extended his appreciation to the whole team since the program would bring a lot of opportunities to the municipality. He also stated that the Local Government Unit will assist with any entrepreneurship and business innovation activities. ♦
